This is a sponsored video. HaloBlk provided the HaloDisc 2 set.
In the Model Y Juniper walkaround, I mentioned the stock wheel covers weren’t doing it for me. I’d seen the HaloDisc 2 on a previous-gen Model Y Long Range and they stood out — not just another flat aero cover. HaloBlk sent over a set in the Charging style for the 19-inch Crossflow wheels, so we’re putting them on.
What’s in the Box

The packaging is premium — each disc is individually boxed, and the top tray holds the center lock caps, the HaloDisc cap, and the installation tool. HaloBlk includes two cap types: H1 and H2. There’s a compatibility chart in the box, and for the 19-inch Model Y Crossflow wheels, you use the H2s.
Color coding matters here. The left-side caps are red and black. The right-side caps are teal and black. This isn’t just aesthetic — the tightening direction is also different per side (more on that below), so keeping them sorted matters.
Installation
Start by removing the stock covers. There are five small slots around the cover; reach in and pull each one out gently, working around the wheel. Don’t force it, just steady pressure.
For the center lock cap: push down on the center piece first. This retracts the locking balls inside so the cap can slide into the wheel hub. If you try to push it in without pressing first, the balls will block it. Once seated, tighten — right side is counterclockwise, left side is the opposite. Use the included tool and don’t overtighten. There’s a rubber washer between the cap and wheel to protect the finish.
After the center cap is locked in, the H2 spacer washer goes on next (specific to the H2 kit), then the disc cover, then the outer lock ring. Seat the outer ring, thread the cover screw, done.
One wheel takes about ten minutes. The second goes faster once you have the sequence down. Budget 30 minutes for all four.
The Result
The Charging style on a white Juniper reads as dark covers with just enough white and gray contrast to not disappear into the bodywork. The design breaks up what would otherwise be an all-black wheel with a shape that’s actually recognizable from a distance — which is the point. A lot of white Junipers and Model 3s in the parking lot; these make it easier to spot ours.

HaloBlk also offers blank covers in the same system if you want to run a custom design. That’s the direction we’re likely heading once the wrap is sorted. I’ve covered more of their Juniper accessories in the HaloBlk carbon fiber spoiler and pedals install.
What’s Next
The Juniper is getting wrapped. Abby gave the green light, and she’s getting the Cybertruck wrapped too. The shop isn’t announced yet, but we’re working with the same person on both builds. These wheel covers are the first mod on this car — the wrap reveal is already up if you want to see where it landed.
